“Welcome to Sounds of Color Studio. Since we started with our first piano lessons over 30 years ago, our mission has always been to be a place for people of all ages to gather and explore their creativity and love for learning. While our studio and team of teachers has grown over the years, our commitment to our students remains stronger than ever. We believe anyone is capable of learning something new. Our Story.
Sounds of Color Studio is the realization of a dream that started back in 1990. Bri Harb had recently graduated college and decided it was time to apply her passion for music and started her own business teaching piano lessons from her home. At first, her students were mostly neighborhood kids, but word quickly spread, and families started signing up from all over Orange County. People were tired of traditional piano lessons filled with repetitive exercises and strictly playing classical genres. From the beginning, Bri’s approach to teaching piano was to focus on what the student wanted to accomplish, helping them foster a lifelong passion for music and learning...

Families have many choices when it comes to selecting a music or creative arts school in Orange County. At many of these schools, however, you’ll find strict curriculums with outdated, repetitive exercises that not only limit the potential of students, but are honestly quite boring.
From the beginning we wanted Sounds of Color Studio to be different than these other schools. Our mission has always been to provide students of any age and experience level with an unrivaled approach that focuses on teaching and learning. We do this by asking every student a very simple question when they first start with us, “What would you like to learn?” From there, every student begins their own exploration into the creative world of the arts, guided by our team of experienced teachers.
