Musical Theater Classes at Sounds of Color Studio — **How We Teach** • Musical Theater Classes

Musical theater classes at Sounds of Color Studio offer an inviting experience for kids and teens interested in learning acting, dancing, singing, and choreography. Our experienced teachers select fun and engaging musicals for students to comfortably build their stage presence and expand their performance skillset. Throughout the year, our musical theater students participate in several live productions to share their progress with family and friends.

Group Musical Theater Classes

Fees • Group Class Schedule

Musical Theater Class Fees*

Musical Theater: 1 lesson/week • 1 hour • $150/month per student + $400 material fee**

*Class fees include 4 lessons per month. If a month has 5 weeks, there is no additional charge for the fifth class. All class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

*Student participation in any of our musical theater classes requires a full commitment for the duration of the production. An early withdrawal fee may be applied if a student withdraws from the class before the performance date.

**Material fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, one-time fees.

Studio Classes

Our inviting studio is the perfect place for musical theater classes for any age or experience level. Students have the opportunity to practice monologues, develop their singing voice, and rehearse choreography.

Commonly Asked Questions About Musical Theater Classes

We accept students as young as 4 years old in our Musical Theater Conservatory. Depending on the show selection, students may be divided based on appropriate age groups, or combined into a single cast. It's never too early to help kids develop the confidence to perform in front of an audience!
Yes! Auditions are held at the start of each new production. Every student is guaranteed a part, whether it’s a character role or as an important member of the ensemble.
Students in our Musical Theater Conservatory benefit from the opportunity to participate in several live musical theater productions each year. The number of productions varies and depends on the size of each show and amount of rehearsal required.
Yes. Our teachers have extensive experience and/or educational backgrounds in their area of specialization. Every teacher is thoroughly vetted and goes through a comprehensive background check, including FBI and Department of Justice clearance.
We do our best to match every student with the perfect teacher, but if for any reason it's just not the right fit, we will be more than happy to find an alternative solution. Depending on the situation, this may include finding a new teacher for private lessons, or a different group class.
Yes! We have many students who require special learning accommodations, and our dedicated and caring teachers help everyone shine in their classes. Please inform us of any special circumstances during registration.
